Middle school gym class

Whats you're favorite game you played as a kid in school?  The main ones I played were Duck Duck Goose, Sharks and Minnows, What time is it Mr. Fox, cookie monster, hide and seek, and musical chairs.

I'd have to say my favorite was Duck Duck Goose.  I always went with the short and quick goose tag instead of prolonging the ducks making everyone anxious.  One and down is how I rolled, surprised them right off the bat.

yes dodgeball n floor hockey. and duck duck goose and musical chairs arent really gym games. there more lets play this at my tenth birthday party cuz mom says im to young call of duty, type games.

This game called bonkers. You had bowling pins in all four corners of the gym and one in the middle and you had to protect your pin while every fucking ball the school owned was being thrown.

My friend took a parachute from our gym and it gets broken out at parties sometimes. ( he's been out of high school for like 4 years haha).

What time is it Mr. Fox was the shit! Deff. used to be my favorite game.

Hah same, the only time we ever got to play it was when the schedule got messed up because of snowdays or something. Sucks we only had like 40 minute classes.

a combination of dodgeball and bowling, normal dodgeball with 6 bowling pins in the back. you win when you either eliminate the opposing team or their pins

Can't remember the name but it was like dodgeball but no teams, and no sides, all you do is run around throwing balls at each other.

we used to call it sprout ball. It what we played when dodgeball got outlawed haha. Our gym teacher would play with us and get sooo into it, too. I think he actually pegged a girl in the face once.

-Matt ball was the shit
-Like someone said, dodgeball was the shit but we only got to play on like snowdays and shit when teh classes were short
-That bowling pin game that someone called Bonkers before, I don't remember what we called it, but it was the shit.
-Badminton and pickleball were so sick, we used to smack the pickle ball across the whole gym and just have a free for-all.
-Swimming had it's goods and bads.

Gym classes are the only thing I miss from public school.

Wiley Ball. It was a mat ball but instead of kicking we hit a volleyball with a metal bat.. shit came off the bat at 100+ mph. youd make on catch and then wouldnt be able to touch anything cus your hands would sting for the rest of class.

Dodgeball and floor hockey, obviously, but we also played this other game that I can't remember the name of, where we put up a volleyball net, and you played dodgeball under the net, and volleyball over the net. You had to try to win points in volleyball but avoid getting hit with the dodgeballs. Shit was intense.

Capture the flag maze. We had these huge ass movable walls so we could cut the gym in half if we needed to, but instead, the teacher would make a huge ass maze, and we'd have to play capture the flag in it. We'd put down tape half way through so you knew where you could tag and what not. It was amazing.

Sounds like, but isn't nukem, where all you do is throw a ball over a volleyball net and try to make the other team not be able to catch it.

Well dodgeball, I think I played that before I moved into one of the school systems that is good but cares too much about self esteem, guidance counselors and that stuff. Dodgeball is apparently too dangerous and makes people who are bad it it feel bad/get owned by dodgeballs. So we played something called bean bag toe tag. You basically played dodgeball, but you whipped small beanbags across the floor and if you got hit in the feet you were out. Nobody (very few people) got hit in the face, so everybody wins?

Also, kickball or die.

Actually, that was grade school. Hurrr derrrrr. Compared to highschool and elementary school gym, middle school gym sucked I think. Badminton and kickball were good, that's all I remember as being fun.

War Ball. My highschool was so fucked up they actually allowed us to play mexicans vs whites.

I got soo into it one day the school charged me with disturbing the peace, of war ball. /claim


In middle school we would just go outside and steal the soccer ball from the mexicans and see how long we could keep it from them. If they got too close, BOOT THAT SHIT OVER THE FENCE.
