T-bar Flips

I recently saw a vid on NS where a dude popped some sort of flip on a T-bar, and I proceeded to tell a bunch of my friends about it. They're all telling me im lying though and i need to find the proof. I used the searchbar, I went back about 6 pages in ski gabber, and i looked on youtube, nothing. If anyone recalls the video and knows where i can find it please drop a link.

I saw this in a ski movie once, dont remember what one though and I always have wondered how do you do one of those..it looks like from the video all you do is turn your skis sideways and stop for a second and wait for the line to stretch and jump up but i could be wrong..++Karma for any tips

You've also probably seen one in either MSP's In Deep or TGR's Re:session. Too lazy to go back and figure out which but its there.

tried it and fell and caught my hood on the t bar, it ripped off (snaps held it on) and stayed on the bar leaving me behind so i had to take off my skis (one already came off the sprint to the bar to grab my hood and i only got half way up the hill

Best to do this on flatter section of the t-bar. You need to boost yourself forward (clearly seen in 1st vid), I do somethin similar in the guy in the first vid, pull back on the top of t- and scoot forward, to create some slack. you'll stop& turn skis and wait for tension and then pop and look over shoulder. I find it helps to do a couple boost/scoot forwards first just to get the pop timing right.

nah man, tbar progression is just going too fast. id rather see some guy doing steezy dubs than triples, which are always ugly. tbaring is going to turn into aerial skiing. these guys need to remember to just have fun, nt keep trying to be the best.

i have never seen a skier do it before but a guy last year who ran the t-bar would lay on his back and wait till it came to his feet and he hooked his legs and he let it pull him until he had enough momentum to flip up and land on his feet..it was so sick
