its just the way he acted. Surely they have translators (as the trip was run by Finnish tourist board) Just ask them to translate what the fuck she is saying. Don't just ski off and act all surprised and angry when she over reacts.

good thing she doesnt understand what he said and he didnt do anything mildly aggressive towards her. IDK why PBP published this. i mean its kinda funny when its a crazy dude or younger lady, but an old woman? damn stop being such a bunch of hooligans and giving skiing a bad name.

For sure the lady is in the wrong but what ever happened to respect for our elders. If I were in that situation I would've just left, went and got a coffee and came back five minutes later and slayed it. I'd be pissed at her for sure though. It's a tough situation. I think he should've layed off a little though cause she seemed pretty old.

Very true. I idk he could've just popped off his skis. I guess imo it's all about respect. If thats her property then i can see how she'd be pissed. If not then I would've done the same as him. People have done stuff like this to me when i'm dirtbiking out on public land, like they own the land. I just go around them. What the hell are you talking about, she blatantly attacked him and tried to pull him to the ground when he tried to ski around her. And what validity do you see on the argument that she is an old woman? So by that logic, if someone is old, you should just let them be crazy, irrational and belligerent, and let them attack you? At no point did he physically attack her, on the contrary, all he did was call her an old crazy bitch, which she had just proven beyond any doubt, that she is. This misunderstood "respect" for your elders doesn't (at least for normal people) apply when people are acting insane and aggressive. End of story.

This is good proof of someone getting waaaaay ahead off themselves. You just went completely back on your first argument, and highlight the point that you guys read way to much in to this video. All the assumptions you made had no basis in anything you knew anything about, which is why you should have thought before you typed, like so many others in this thread. This is kinda whack on PBPs part, and a good reason why skiers, snowboarders, skaters, etc are finding it increasingly difficult to get shit done.

Yes, this woman was probably over the top aggresive, but this is where you walk away and say "sorry," especially when you're in someone else's country, presumably on someone else's property. I doubt she was trying to start a fight, but that's pretty much what it turned into.

Know when to walk away, and/or come back another time or day to get your shot.

lol not 16. if that was where she lived she had a right to get up in his face, especially if he didnt act like he was gonna leave immidiatly.

once he started skiing away she probly thought he was gonna do some more of his property wrecking shenanigans. Why didnt he immediatley take his skis off to defuse the situation?

Ya she was acting a little aggressive, but he chose to prolong/escalate the confrontation when he acted like it was a joke trying to juke her, then skiing away.

I still dont understand why the only dude who spoke the native language didnt step in and try and calm her down.

Again why would this be posted by pbp, it is not cool. if she does have mental issues, its like making fun of down syndrome, kinda funny in private, but really in bad taste, and probly offends a lot of people.

You're really not getting the point. How is poorboyz responsible for how other people act? They posted a video of something that happened to them, nothing more. To me that has nothing to do with being disrespectful, it's about showing what happened. Look at the video again, it's fuckin appartment buildings, unless she own's the city, i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it's not her property. Again she's the one acting crazy, why does he have to act in a certain way when confronted with insane bahaviour? I think he handled it quite well, he did absolutely nothing to escalate the situation, she did that very well all on her own. It's like you watched a video of thugs robbing old ladies, and i watched the video in the thread.

if someone was fucking up the place i lived, i would be pissed. He made a joke out of it, and didnt do everything he could to defuse the situation, which i believe you should do with old people, especially if you are doing something illegal.

lastly pbp can post whatever they want, that is their right. But what they do post reflects on them and their athletes. In this case, i feel along with many others, that this was a shitty situation, and it was handled very poorly by the crew. to me and others this gives a bad impression of pbp and the crew that was there.

maybe they werent at fault but it appears that way to alot of folks, and why would you want to publicize something that can be seen to be offensive like this.

She obviously wanted him to take off his skis when he was standing on the drop-in. The situation could've been avoided if he had just popped off his skis and walked away, instead of trying to ski around her.
