Review Your Gear!!

Since I am sure everyone is stoked on your gear, and people are always looking for info, so we want to remind everyone about the Gear Reviews section on NS https://www.newschoolers.com/ns/content/reviews. Toss up your thoughts, likes and dislikes of everything you have so people can get an idea of whats out there and who likes it. Make sure as well to set up your reviewer profile so people know a little about you.

Companies are always excited to hear feedback of their new products as well.

Good reviews can get featured, and posting reviews is really good for your karma (hint hint), what more incentive do you need?

but seriously,

Cryptonite Chronics 178 - love em, stiff and sick for jumps, not very buttery and the sidewall chips easily but a good charging ski

Didn't quite get the concept. There is a whole Gear Review section on NS where you can give a ton of info on what you liked and didn't like, which will hopefully help other members decide on their purchases

marker m10 bindings (not freeski ones):

these kinda suck, my brakes bend a lot on falls so they stay down when clipped in, they release in unnessary situations, relly hard to land switch (needs to be crazy perfect)

all in all, i wouldnt recommend for an aggressive skier, impossible to land hard or switch without release

I stopped using it because everyone just gave everything a 10. I also stopped making reviews because I couldn't edit my reviews. I have TNK's listed at a 9 because for the first month I legitimately thought they were that good, but I would knock them down to a 7 for durability issues I ran into (twice) just a few days later.

If we could edit that would be fantastic!

Just reviewed 1 pair of skis and a jacket.
But i agree with smail, everybody say how nice is their equipment or how much they like it.
