this guy is a valet parker at a hotel and took one of the cars out for a little drive.. 240km/h in a 70 zone.
he managed to get 42 demerit points and a $2600 fine.

how fast have you ever been in a car?

Misleading, thread title is misleading

For us dumb Americans who are so insistent on using standard. I wish we'd just switch over, it's kind of a pain to use metric when everyone else uses standard.

I think you are confused:
metric = meters
standard = feet
US = feet
Much of the rest of the world = meters

Thanks guys but I know how to do the conversion, I'm not an idiot. I was expecting utter craziness of a guy doing 240 mpg in a 70 mph. 240 km in a 70 km is still crazy fast for the streets though.

Also My wording made it not clear but what I meant by "It's a pain to use metric when everyone uses standard," What I meant was that I like to use metric, but everyone IN THE STATES uses standard so it's a pain for ME to use metric in the US. I'm not confused here, just bad wording.
