So I went to the Ski stores by my house and asked the guys for some help.....
Store 1: The man that helped me out was older and told me that if I am looking for an all mt/ park ski I should go with this setup:
Ski: Line Prophet 90
Binding: Griffons
Boot: Salomon Kaos
He told me that the Line Masterminds are for kids not for me like me. ( I am only 19yrs old). The reasoning behind him telling me to get the Prophets is they have a wider base so If I want to go All Mt. with them this will allow for a better ride. Also the Griffons he said have a wider front for better Response.
Store 2: The guy there was a little younger and kinda understood I was looking for a Park primary and All Mt. Secondary. He recommended this setup.
Ski: Line Chronic Cryptonite 173
Binding; Salomon Z12
Boot: Dalbello Voodoo
His reasoning was Cryptonit offers more flexibility and pop. But will also let me take the ski's to the slope. Boots he said were nice and flexible yet responsive and supportive. And didn't really give any reasoning behind the Binding other than all his employees ride them and love them.
I was thinking of this.
Ski: Chronic Cryptonite 173
Binding: Griffons
Boot: Salomon Kaos.
Anyone have any thoughts on this and whether or not this is a good setup?
