I heard on the news that storm totals may be 30 inches! A month ago 36 inches fell overnight at my resort. Haven't received snow in about a month here in CA. Well, we did get 10 inches on Sunday but that doesn't count. Enjoy the snow, California's fucked up weather pattern is sending all that weather your way.

...I would be stoked on all this snow coming, but ever since that MOTHERFUCKER STOLE MY SKIS the snow just pisses me off now. And living in upstate NY, getting hardly shit this season and to see it all come now makes me kinda wanna cry.

No not really saying that at all, I was more asking him if virginia ever gets lots of snow, hence the question mark and all.

With that said, I woke to ice covered trees and branches all over the place in the yard. Huge limbs falling in the woods as I was scraping the truck off. It's a miracle the power didn't go out.

Have fun with the snow you new englanders cause we sure didn't get any down here out of this one.

I gotta take some pics when I get home, trees are literally coated with an inch of ice. I'd hate to see what our local hill looks like right now. Poor guys on park crew today must have it soooooo rough, chipping ice for hours I'm sure.

yeah I'm on park crew as well, not bad as a second job. Thank god I'm not on this morning though. Hell the whole mountain is probably gonna turn to a sheet of ice after tomorrow. Then more rain/snow this weekend, god I love this state.

I don't know where bear creek gets it but they're dumping money into the mountain like there's no tomorrow. Must be all the rich folk from baltimore and dc we get. Place is packed every day and we're only like 550 feet of vert. with 10 trails or so. Huuuuuuuge base lodge though, like something you'd see in VT or Maine. It's crazy

pretty good bit of snow out here in ottawa, now. backyard's got about a foot

only thing i fucking hate about it dumping all at once is when the snowplow goes by. looking outside and seeing that massive pile at the base of the driveway makes your tummy go "h'ohhhhhh.."
