So a good friend of mine has been slaying it lately and really stepping it up to the plate when it comes to comps. I present to you Jaeden Schneider-Clark. I know this is a re-post but i wanted to put it into a forum to get some feedback on the skiing ability and edit perhaps.

Just a reality check here: one thing to say really good park skiing ability, but based on that edit, not even in the realm of potential "next big things"

as for the edit: lots of repetition, lots of the same features, consequently nothing really stands out.

the kid is sick for sure, but you cant call someone the next big thing if he doesnt have at least all four 720s. Switch right is a must.

he does have all 4 7s.... we just never got around to filming sw right 7. just wait until his end of season edit. then you will see how big Jaeden is going to get.

hes real good but hes 17 and there are kids coming up that are like 12 and can throw down just as hard.  its kind of bad luck for him that at the time he got good is now with all these young kids.  about 5 years ago he would definetly be the next thing.

To all the haterz: you've never seen the kid throw down, that was a pretty mellow edit.

to op your friend is good but id say at least 100 kids on this site are just as good. Kids just need something more creative these days. I'de love to see a "Travis Steegeresk" kid coming up, he was going to be so good, rip. But your friend needs something more whether it be backcountry or dubs or creative urban/ ways to slide a rail.

yep. and wall brought new tricks and a distinct style.

this guy is good and has a good trick bag, but he really needs something to stand out stylistically or technically, or both.

It's never been about being the next big thing.

I could watch that kid ski all day. Small features, but it's smooth. If you're trying to be the next Torin, not happening. But if you're into it, I think what you're doing is cool.

Jaeden's real good and definitely real chill but these threads are silly. Only time will tell who's going to blow up and who won't. These threads just become pissing contests between kids who think their homies are really good and up-and-coming.
