So HGTV gives away a dream home every year and this year it's in Stowe, Vermont.

It's free to enter and you win the house (which includes an 8 person ski dorm on the bottom floor), $500,000 cash, and a new car.

I watched last year and they aired the drawing on TV. They showed a bunch of huge bins full of printed out and folded up entry tickets-- and then some woman was chosen as the "ultimate HGTV fan" and she got to pick a bin and choose the winning entry-- so I think the winner is random.

no shit, i'm saying it would be nice since it's a give away if they took care of that for you.

i've heard of things like this in the past where people win cool stuff, and get it taken away again because they can't afford the expenses that come with it
