In colorado the bindings on my park skis exploded so I used my 189 One Lifes for the rest of my trip. They float like a dream and handle very well on hard pack. I was carving big ass turns on groomers easily. They charge pretty well through crud as well. The only two things I dont like about them (and they are very minor) is after my trip there was some pretty obvious topsheet damage (not that topsheet damage matters at all, the skis are great) and that they were hard to maneuver in tight trees, although that could have been because at 189 it was the longest ski I have ever skied by far.
plus you can tell gapers that your skis are broken because of the outrageous rocker
