Need help on the hand drag

So i think most of you guys know what im talking about, when your kinda sitting on the back of your skis and you go off the headwall/drop and you kick your feet out sideways and scrap your hand off the ground.

I gave the explanation cause i feel like "hand drag" isnt the name of the trick. BUT ANYWAYS how to do this?

Start with 180's, I learned them over a small spine, but a decent knuckle works too. Just lean over, drag your hand, and squeeze your core to bring your skis back under you. Once you get those down, really commit to the hand drag, but this time follow through with the motion and as long as you have halfway decent hangtime, you'll land on your feet.

Best thing is to just commit.

There are two ways to do this. The first, and easiest way, is to roll up to the knuckle or roller with some speed, sit back on your skis, drag one hand on the ground (left hand if you spin left, right hand if you spin right), as the knuckle/roller drops off pop a bit and bring it around.

The second way is a bit harder, but looks way better (this is the way you usually see it done in movies/edits). Again, approach the knuckle/roller with some speed but this time set a carve (like before, a carve to left if you spin left, or a carve to the right if you spin right - just like you would to carve a spin off a jump), here's where the timing comes in, you have to try and time it so the the point where the knuckle/roller drops off is when you're at the return of your carve (so if you're carving left, you're now starting to face the left side of the trail...or the opposite if you're carve right), then pop and put you're hand down, kick your feet forward a bit and let the spin get around and stomp the landing.

I made a recommendation that he be member of the month a while back. Seems like the guy just spends his days answering kids questions about what skis they should get and how to do tricks. Dam comendable if you ask me

yeah i think that you can get the feel for them goin over a spine so that you can just kick your feet out to the side of the spine and drag your hand over the top, then you can really get a feel for them.
