we need more info about yourself, but from seeing what i have from suspects i'd go with the afterbangs.. suspects break super easy. my friend skis his abangs almost everyday hard as shit in the park and they're holding up
Don't buy suspects. My skis were good for 3 days before i had 2 feet of edge pull out on both ski and when you go to contact them, their contact information is virtually non existent. This has also happened to two other people i ski with.
I haven't skied either but I know two people who have the suspects and apparently they get destroyed as soon as you bang one on a rail. If you're doing urban: get the abangs. Also to put some advice in here. You mentioned bindings ->Sth. And I have the Sth 12 mounted on my armada ar7's.... Sturdiest bindings ever, I'm thinking I'll get at least four seasons out of them.. Most likely more. The thing isthat every pro that has the afterbangs(look at the promotional video) has Them mounted with look [dynastar/Rossi] Fks, jib, or lifter.. So maybe there's some reason behind that. The other really popular binding on the abangs are griffons. Sth are rock solid but they are a little pricier, goodluck
I ride abangs, the last thing they are made for is pow/all mountain. They are sick at park and durable as hell. If you are skiing urban go with the abangs
you are talking about two skis at opposite ends of the spectrum here. abangs are like noodles and suspects are like one of the most stiff skis on the market.
Defenetly go with the 'bangs i got them this year i can pop 2x as high as before and ther soooooo durable. At haloween
we went to hit some urban and we landed on like ice + cement and my afterbangs held up no problem. My friend had the salomon pro pipes and the edge blew off. So defenetly afterbang!!!!!!!!!!
I have the afterbangs, and I ski at least 3 times a week on them, and all I do is rails and small jumps, they are holding up fine. Just a few top sheet chips, and only 1 or 2 gouges on the bases, not too deep at all though
IMO, screw both of those things. go for armada, k2 or fat-ypus or ON3P. toooo many probs with suspects and abangs. and to whomever said that the afterbangs are a big mountain ski...ARE. YOU. SHITTIN. ME
all this i'm hearing bout suspects breaking is lies.. i've had mine for three years now, skiing the shit out of them. they're great for booters and feel super sturdy.. bit stiff though. butters are a challenge but from all that i've heard, afterbangs are amazin' so even i would pick them over suspects...
