Things that mountain kids excell at.

what would you say are the top 5 things mountains kids excell at over normal kids who dont ski everyday in the winter.

ex: predicting the weather, how to drive in snow, ect..

a lot of people who ski frequently still dont know how to drive well in the snow. a lot of the time at my home mountain the people who drive off the side are the ~45 year old men who go up every weekend in their big 4wds and get overconfident.

thats why i said mountain folks, not weekend warriors. when i say that i mean the folks who literally are up skiing everyday or at least 4 or 5 days a week min.

another one that popped into my head is most kids who ski a ton know how to fall properly on jumps. just kinda go with it and hold it together till you come to a stop. def better to not tense up and let your whole body absorb the impact.

most mountain kids can handle themselves in pressure situations, like being lost in the woods or falling hard by yourself, and also we all have very good sense of directions, and of course every single mountain kid has a wicked nice ass

definitely driving in the snow,
of course there are exceptions but i've noticed a lot of kids raised in the mountains
also tend to be really social and most have a great sense of humor.

aside from that, I know a lot of skiers and snowboarders have seen and experienced some wild falls & injuries, and i've noticed that dealing with and helping people who're hurt bad becomes a lot easier the more you do it.
