Im 5'10 140 pounds
Advanced skier but intermediate park skier
Skiing in Europe ideally powder, but mostly charging crud and chop and hopping in and out of park all day. My park abiltiy is limited to threes on decent sized but not huge jumps.
Will be getting 183's of whichever ski
Basically im looking for some fun skis to play around on all day, im not looking to get techincal in the park just like floating 3's and jibbing around. I want to make the most of the powder i get and need something thats fun in chopped and skied out pow. I like soft and light skis (im not a big guy and tend to backseat a fair bit)
I'm very torn between these two skis (im kinda limited to Line as they are much cheaper here in the UK) ive search barred the hell out of both and feel im kind of leaning toward the FSB's. I think all mountain wise they will suit me more (my understanding is the Blends are stiffer and less responsive) my only worry is their performance in the park.
Im not a very good park skier but enjoy throwing my limited bag of tricks and have never tried fat skis in the park before, my old skis were 07 Fujatives and first gen Seth Pistols
From reading this I understand the FSBs are 100g per ski heavier than Blends but other comments have desribed the Blends as a heavy ski? I think weight could be the decisive facotor
Do you think i'll find the SFBs heavy and restrictive in the park?
Or will the Blends be more restrictive for all mountain funtimes?
Thanks a lot id love specific advice from anyone who's skied these exact skis.
Cheers
