FullTilt not heat-molded correctly?

Hi I bought some Seth's couple of weeks ago perfect fit snug fit all around etc.
This was the first boot ever that I've gotten heat molded so I didn't know anything bout it.
The tech was busy so some new guy helped me , I didn't care much because I didn't know shit about molding boots correctly etc.

So first day of riding on a holiday after a few runs i can feel my feet move in the boots , my ankle isn't locked so I'm sliding little bit forwards and backwards all the time , so I tightened them up to a snug fit to somewhat stop my feet from sliding and then this terrible feetcramp kicks in  at the end of the day. Couldn't walk normally in my sneakers for 2 days.
Also there is a little room between my legs and the tongue so after landing a few backseat I get this terrible reversed shinbang or whatever pain in my calves and the sides of my calves, I still can't run properly today after 1,5 of not skiing.

Now here's the  thing; I think the newguy didn't mold my boots correctly , the buckles were kinda loose  when getting them heat molded and the strap wasn't set tight enough to close the gap between my skinny legs and the tongue.

This might be a no-brainer but can my feetpains be solved by getting them reheated or is there maybe another problem?

I didn't contact the shop yet, not getting out for skiing until mid Feb so it's not really urgent atm. besides the shop is far away and they'll reheat costfree anyway so I'm askin for some opinions on here thx

doesn't sound necessarily like a heat-mold problem... more like a footbed or sizing problem. Also, how much do you weigh? What kind of boot are you used to skiing in?

I weigh around 140lbs, I'm used to traditional 4buckle boots ,ski'd recreationals and raceboots.

I just came up with the genius idea of trying wearing 2 socks and they fit much better with 2 socks on each foot :(
They feel nice and snug again like when I first tried them in the shop , maybe the liner packed out but that would be very quickly.

However it's not my intention to ski with 2 socks on each foot how can I fix this?
Any modifications that can be done by either me or a shop? I'm totally new to boots.

Btw I think that they are the right lenght but it's the width that's of the problem.
When tightening the width buckle to the max with 1 sock on I can still wiggle a little , with 2 socks on it's a tight fit without wiggling.

I hate to say it, but your boot sounds too big. Take the liner out, put your foot (with a thin sock on) in the shell, slide your foot to the front of the shell so your toes just touch. You should be able to fit 1.5/2 fingers (one inch max) behind your heel, any more than that and they are too big.

HUMMM, how did your shop mold, did they just chuck a regular break in hair dryer gun or did they stick em in an oven?

Boots should have been snug, not tight, when heat molding which would actually give you more room in the boot due to not compressing the foam as much.

Whereabouts are your feet cramps? instep, arch, toes, balls, heel? what i can gather from the picture is that you have a little more room than i would like in a boot which may be the reason of your foot moving around. It could also be that your foot is very low volume (narrow, not much mass) to them which would also be a culprit.

you really can't do any modifications to make that boot smaller.
Bring your boots with your receipt into the shop you bought them from. Explain your situation. You said it yourself, you know nothing about boot sizing, they sized you wrong so they are at fault here. They should re fit you into the same boot with a smaller size.

This part leads me to believe your foot is low volume and most likely in too big of a boot. Mainly because when trying on intuition liner boots, they fit much tighter, much much tighter versus a regular liner before heat molding.For reference, I could barely get my feet in mine when they were bought, and just barely in at that. There is little to do to take up room in a boot, a custom footbed will take up a small amount of room, onenerdykid suggests C or L pads to take up some more if your heel is moving, but not much else can be done that I know of

My feet are indeed low volume , they're pretty flat and narrow, infact when I tighten the lower buckle at it's max my front part of my foot isn't in full contact with the tongue.                                                  They heated them in a hairdryer with big k2 stickers on it.

I'll contact the shop tommorow, they seem pretty legit but I'm not sure how they'll handle these kind of things, well I guess that I'm about to find it out.
