Help me find a wide angle lens for my camera!

JVC Everio GZ-HD7 and I need a good wide angle lens for it for follow cams and what not. I really have no idea what a good lens is so i was hoping a fellow newschooler could help point me in the right direction.

I just purchased a camcorder (Samsung S10) with a 46mm filter thread like the JVC Everio GZ-HD7. I've also been having some difficulties finding good options for wide angle lenses which are 46mm (without adapter rings).

One that I have found is a .45x wide angle lens by Opteka. However they're quality isn't top notch by any means, but that's reflected by the price (~$40).

I've gone in to a photography stores (Henry's, in Canada) and they don't seem to have any wide angle lenses for 46mm filters in stock at all.

Does anyone know of any quality (but not too high quality, under $200) wide angle conversion lenses for 46mm threads? Or, how is it possible to use an adapter ring with a different sized wide angle lens while avoiding the dark border circle and region of vignetting? I'm relatively new to this, so any help will be much appreciated.

Note: I'm not looking for a fisheye, unless it is only a very minor fisheye.

Double post, but I just came across a .66x 46mm Raynox wide angle lens (link: http://www.vistek.ca/store/ProPhotoCameraLenses/252826/raynox-hd6600pro-super-wide-angle-066x-46mm-mount72mm-front.aspx)

It'd be nice to find one at or under .5x, but I think that'd be pretty hard while matching the 46mm constraint.

I believe but am not positive that you could use a step down ring on a wide angle lens with a thread size larger than that of your camera. Right now I have a 58mm opteka fisheye on my camera stepped down to 37mm. Not positive this is the best way to do it but it works just fine for me

check out the opteka site, they have some good lens's and wont break the bank

FYI, I ended up buying the Raynox HD-6600PRO-46 Wide Angle Conversion Lens (0.66x) for $150 (link: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/718694-REG/Raynox_HD_6600PRO_46_HD_6600PRO_46_Wide_Angle_Conversion.html).

It isn't that wide of a lens, but it'll do the trick if you're not looking for any fisheye and no significant region of vignetting or dark corners. It should be compatible with your JVC Everio GZ-HD7 (46mm filter diameter).
