ATTENTION AUSTRIA ! Kitzubel VS Innsbruck? Which is better?

I want to get a visa to go work in austria but I dont know where to choose between the innsbruck area and kitzubel.   I dont speak much german,  so to anybody who lives in austria, which do you think i would have an easier time getting a job, like washing dishes etc... and cheap apartments etc...   which do you think would be a better place to try to move to?

and yeah i know innsbruck is a city  but you know what i mean its surrounded by tons of resorts.

i dont have too much info for you, other than innsbruck`s surrounding resorts are all good, the people awesome, and the beer is good. its pretty much a college town, there is not that much work there for poeple looking for a permanent career, so most of the poeple there are young. and everyone can talk english. they like it that you make an effort to leran german though, so try to learn some before you go.

Mayrhofen's not too far from Innsbruck I believe. Great place!

i'm going to university in IBK atm and have to admit that it is by far the best skiing related town i've ever been to. within an hour you can reach like 8/9 resorts including 3 glaciers and IBK has its own mountain the "Nordkette/Seegrube". You can reach it in 5mins by car!

Im spanish and lived in innsbruck last year!

I don´t know german and I had a job easily, obvious not face to face with costumers, but you can find jobs in restaurants preparing drinks, cleaning, or anything like that!

IBK is great for living, every single day party, a lot of resorts pretty close to the city, good public transport, nice people, nice girls........... Good place to live. I went with a friend and he is now living there!!!!


So I don´t know the other place, but definately IBK should be fine!!!

can't go wrong with Innsbruck, but also check out Arlberg (St Anton). Generally speaking, the further west you go, the better it gets.

wow thanks guys. Also, did you have to get work visas or did you just go and get a job there? Whats the easiest way to get a job and maybe citizenship over there?
