How was your 2010?

Mine was fucking fantastic. Literally probably one of the top 3 years of my life. I went through the 'big playa hustler" stage from like 16-19, and now I am 25 and I am starting to actually be able to say I am a fuckin adult, making real money, doing real things (on real mountains hahaha)

New job for me this year,

Finishing up my bachelors

Lets hope for an even better 2011

got lucky last new years
girl got prego
had a child
named the child clark
raised him until he was about 3 years old
deserted wife and child
lived on the run as a dealer
ended up becoming one of those salted/caramel nut venders in nyc
found the love of my life again at age 32
dated for 14 months and married
thinking about getting divorced and now im here about to start my own outerwear company

Ah i see. Well my 2010 was pretty run of the mill. On a scale of 10 with 1 being really fucking shitty and 10 being really fucking awesome my year was a solid 7.

Worst year ever for me.
-Tore my ACL in January. That pretty much ended my normal life until September because I couldn't do anything.
-Douche bag room mate stole a ton of shit from me.
-Got too drunk a few times and did baaaaaaad things.
-Dislocated my kneecap in my other knee, more or less ending this season. No / very little park for me and can't ski for 4-6 weeks.

2010 needs to end now.

All in all, a good year. Was in exchange, made a lot of new friends and had a glorious summer. After that it's been a bit subpar due to not finishing my bachelor's in time and being broke, but when life gives you potato potatoe you make purple lemon drank.

Contrary to all the other 2010 haters in here, I had an amazing year.

Moved into a fantastic new house with some of my best friends
Specialised in courses I'm actually interested in
New, amazing girlfriend
Working out what I actually want to do with my life.
Lost 50lbs
Going to ski super deep, lift-accessed powder/ BC in La Grave tomorrow.


Life's pretty good atm.

Best year so far for me.
For me to be happy with myself this season, I'm going to have to step up pretty big and I'm working on that right now, it's been a great first week on snow so far.
Life has all around improved for me this year.

First year starting freestyle at the beginning of last season, this season has been dope. Made money, got new ski gear. School is fucking easy so I can ski A ton. Its been righteous

i had a damn good 2010!

Bought 191 caylors (i have been lusting after them since my buddy kip got the prototype pair 2 years ago)
Amazing girlfriend. She puts up with my shit and i'm really stoked on it
New major, I decided to go into physical therapy instead of the med school track, and i'm much more interested in it. Ever since i changed majors i've been at a 4.0 even tho the classes are way harder.
My roommates are awesome
Turned 21 in march
No major injuries
Put on a few pounds of muscle, but i'm still a skinny bitch
That and my family is happy and healthy and my g-ma's cancer is in remission. All is will here :)

Pretty shitty in the beginning. Then I moved back to the east coast, southern beachtown. I love living here, found a somewhat rare old Harley and picked it up dirt cheap, I ride everyday if possible. I've grown more disconected from my family, but closer to my father. I just found an old cousin I havent seen in 20 years, lives 8 miles from me. I'm restoring a 1965 Harley FLH at work, which will be done in feb. If I can pull off top notch work on it, I'll be in line for a third project; building a custom factory drag bike, licensed by the NHDRA. I have made a lot of investments in myself the past few years, it's time for them to pay off. I need a good year.

2010 was by far the worst year of my life.

My grandfather passed in january.
I received 3 different misdemeanors resulting in a years probation and $700 in fines in june
I experimented with pills and ended having a temporary psychotic episode which lasted about 2 weeks. Seriously the scariest 2 weeks of my life, also in june
Me and My best friend of 6 years got in a huge fight and haven't spoken since July.
I can't find a job
I broke my hand, had 14 stiches in my foot and tore my rotator cuff.
I wrecked my car, fortunately not too much damage.


Id have to say the second half was much better tho. I received the best grades of my college career, 2 c+ and a b-, Not great buy any means but hey its above a 2.0 and thats what I needed.
I have a Park City season pass which has seriously been my dream since I was 12. I have a brand new shred stick and bindings and Im riding the best I ever have.

Its not only been the worst year but also the most interesting. Im sitting in Depoe Bay on the Oregon Coast watching the waves splash up the rocks on Christmas day. A unique experience for me.

Best year of my life so far. Can't wait to take on 2011 as a 20 year old

January, I went on a road/ski trip with my best friend.
February, I worked my first contract tv gig. Made $2800 in a week.
March, I abandoned Golden for a week and spent the week of my 19th birthday in Vancouver at the Sheraton Wall center with my dad and the greatest girl ever at the time.
April, I just partied and skied.
May, I worked.
June, I went and saw Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers ft. Joe Cocker, as well as took far too many drugs one night (I was ok)
July, I stood up to my bitch ass girlfriend and told her to fuck off (Yes, the whole time before, I was cheating on her). Then left to Vancouver Island with the Vancouver girl for the best 10 days of my life.
August, finished work, got ready for college and spent the last month with the Vancouver girl (she came and stayed with me from July to August). Then said goodbye till I don't know when (hardest thing ever, she's in Peru now being a gypsy).
September, in school, living on my own for the first time, got depressed and missed the girl
October, partied in school. First published ski photo (highlight of my skiing life)
November, met another amazing girl, currently trying to make that work.
December, finished my first semester with mostly "A's", and now I'm at home, been skiing. Not sure how I'm feeling about my New Years plans.

And there you have it. My 2010 year. I loved it. Changed how I look at myself. More independant. More confident. Ready to make more changes.

It definitely had some rough patches, but this summer was one of the best of my life and I'm having a pretty damn good start to this winter... 16 inches of pow coming to Maine within the next couple days!

28 day canoe trip down the coppermine last summer - best experience of my life, nothing will ever come close to how incredible that was

senior year is easy as shit
im in to 3 schools, 2 of them are my top choices
senior year is only gonna get eaiser
