i think top 9 get into the tour...

so i'd guess top 4 from each heat plus the highest overall 5th place score? i wonder if bolth heats have taken bolth their runs yet...?

Also are there any riders that get to skip prelims and go straight to finals? Or do all pre qualified riders have to partake in the prelims?

2nd heat only got to take one run because of weather, so they took the top 5 riders from each heat.


First heat: Russ Henshaw, Dane Tudor, Chris Laker, Vincent Gagnier, and James Woodsy

Second heat: Thomas Doplads, Aleksander Aurdal, Paul Bergeron, Chris Logan, and Kolby Ward

Top three from the overall tour will advance straight to finals. All other prequalified athletes have to compete in prelims along with the new athletes that just advanced from the open qualifier.

It always sucks when poor weather comes into play at a contest, especially in the middle of runs. However, I suppose that's just the nature of the beast.

That is sick to see that Laker, Tudor and Logan are in.

Just found out they took top 5 from each heat and then also took the next three highest scores. So 13 people advanced instead of 10. The next three skiers were LJ Strenio, Colby West, and Nick Martini.
