Movie segments that made you cry

So i was thinking about CR's tragic accident and re watched all of his segments that i have. Well I cried while watching seven sunny days and the part where Tanner is talking about his death in Like A Lion. So i was just wondering what ski movie segments make(made) you cry. Heres mine:

Well ummm, Probably one of the most inspiring moments to date was when alex martini dropped in the huge glacier fed creek type thing screaming "This ones for McConkey"
With a bottle of whisky in one hand, in shorts no shirt. It was epic

every time I watch CR's segment in EDIAS and listen to We Miss You by Cali P I get teary eyed and can not stop thinking about what he has been through and how much him and shane have done for the sport

Shane's In Deep Segment. I don't know why, but when he shoveling some snow off his porch with the dogs in the background and the guy's voice comes in the background and say's " More than just being a badass skier. He was just a really wonderful person". That got to me for some reason.

I teared up at the premiere for that movie. Holy, that hit me good.
McConkey In Deep Tribute got me so good. Unbelievable, the stuff they put together. Shane reading his assignment from grade school. The Ski base, hearing the emotion in his voice as he narrated Shanes final moments.

I watched it a couple weeks ago, only to look over and see my friend crying, it was the first time she saw it.

And just to clarify, definitely not a creek. That lake thing is at least 40 feet deep, imagine swimming out of that with skis and ski boots. Not to mention it is 34 degree water... nuts.

After shanes accident every one found he had left one more little present. He had switched everyones money,credit cards, and other random stuff into each others wallets so that nobody knew where there stuff was. A joke that was so uniqly Shane.

Every time I think about that I get a little teary eyed. When I first saw the "This ones for Shane" video I didn't get teary eyed. I got happy. What a hell of a send off.

While I absolutely respect the contributions skiers like Shane and CR have made to the industry and recognize their deaths are indeed tragic, I have never felt the need/urge/reaction to cry over someone I've never met.

CR's Seven sunny days segment FOR SURE. that was probably one of my favorite ski segments even before he passed. now watching it....man, its almost scary.

imo, best song choice in a segment ever.  changed my life.  looking back i cannot believe how important these 5 minutes were to the direction my life would take.  +cr.  and any mckonkey seg always blew my mind, especially the one in focused.

that backstrom section in the way i see it is pretty sad but the guy constantly flying in doing backflips kinda helps to cheer it up a bit.

didn't make me cry tough, just made me think, damn, mcconkey was a badass if even after his death he can inspire people to do crazy stuff like that !

also one that touches me deeply, /no emo, is this little take from CR riding the lift with camper joe during the COC

but i think the OP picked out 2 good ones :)

That McConkey segment makes me tear up almost every time.

I learned to play that first piano song after watching it the first time. I love that song so much.


Damn, I need to do a McConkey backie next time I go skiing. I haven't done one in such a long time.

Yea I just wathched the EDIAS segment with CR, Spriggs, and Tanner. Made me cry at first and then get really stoked for the next time I get to ski.
