Been driving for 9 years now and I started with this 2002 WRX:

then bought this as my winter car(owned at same time as mazda)

then bought another car(yes, I owned 3 cars at once) to cruise for fun in the summer:

and sold all 3 of those to buy my dream car:

and I recently just built and finished this for my pops. one day it will be mine. one day:

Burnt the clutch and since the replacement was the same price as the whole car I got this dime piece

Mine was midnight green so green during the day blue at night, she was runnin a strong 90HP

Then got a 90 Nissan Terrano diesel (pathfinder) and kept the mazda.

Sold the Nissan yesterday and back to driving the mazda full time. That truck was a money pit haha.

Currently looking at getting either a Toyota Caldina GTT or VW Golf GTi both of the late 90's early 00's variety.

86 Cutlass Supreme, White mint condition. totalled it
88 Honda Accord 4 door. rims, system etc... sold it
91 Honda Accord 2 Door 5 speed. was pretty fast. had cams, pulleys and other internal motor work. sold it and it got lit on fire
89 Chevy Astrovan. thing was the tits. gave it back to my dad.
89 Honda Civic, aka Go Kart. transmission banged hard going into 2nd gear. blew the motor.
88 Dodge Aries K car. junked it.
93 Honda Accord EX. thing was a pimp ride at the time. sold it & its still running to this day
2001 Maxima bought in 2002 still own it
2008 Jeep Commander. still own it.

I crashed the Land Rover, front left, from bad road conditions. My bump in the guard rail is still there going to Stevens Pass. Had nothing to do with my driving.

Got my license when I was 16. Started out in a 1996 Volvo 850 Turbo (identical to the one in the picture)

Great first car. Relatively sporty and quick enough to hold its own. Drove it until I was 18 and it was passed down to my sister.

Then, my family bought this e46 touring, as they are neurotic about awd and getting safely to the mountain. I was happy to oblige them for the time being (saving my money for something a little more enthusiast-oriented). drove this from age 18-20 (it's still in the family)

Last year I moved out to halifax for school. I took the 850 for 6 months, and it was against reunited with my sister this past summer as she moved out east for school.

Which brings me to my current car (bought this fall, aget 21). 1989 944 turbo. (s-spec, option M030 etc) my absolute dream car (given my financial situation). 100km, mint. ecu+intake+exhaust mods have this thing pushing 375hp at the wheels. I will be keeping this indefinitely.

*winter mode. have a set of twists + getting slammed this spring

it was a 1973. It had 53K original miles. 1 owner. EVERYTHING was original on it. i replaced the points distributor ignition with an MSD electronic distributor and ignition module and this made it much safer and more reliable(would not cut out on the highway at 60mph and cut power anymore =)
From there I cut 1 coil off the front spring and removed 1 leaf spring from the back to lower it on the cressida wheels I had for it.

It drove well(relatively speaking for an original 37 year old car) it was soft, slow, loose and fun(just like I like my women)
cost me $3K to buy it and have it shipped from California to Buffalo.

do you drive this around on the street? i currently have no car for the summer am looking to pick up a cheap motorcycle / dirtbike to get around within a 10 mile radius. I know its not street legal but i have no choice and truthfully dont care if i can find a cheap one.

How did you like the GTI? I'm seriously considering picking up a Mk6, I just need to find time to go test drive one. Did it seem really underpowered compared to the R32? I've also been looking into the new Golf R that's coming this winter for the AWD and extra power, but it's a lot more expensive.
