Yea so I got some nomads

And now I need some bindings, I was looking at some fks's because thats what people were telling me to get. But then my dad said I could have the bindings off his old skis. The skis are whack but the bindings actually look kinda legit, there mostly metal and I think I could probably bend the breaks nicely. I don't have much money and it would be awesome if I could get away with these. Does anyone have any info on these???

That is actually a really nice binding, as long as you have a tech inspect it. The reason that it is called Power is beacause it includes a riser plate. You would not use that riser plate on your ski. You should mount that biinding flat on your ski.

hell yeah you can get away with that. that binding is still good and it looks lightly used. just dont use the plate if you don't have to, if i remember right the binding and plate are seperate, so mount flat.

Upon your replies I took the binding apart and took another look, to take it off you loosen a star screw (see figure 1.1) right a the back of the binding,

then you can slide the whole unit off (see figure 1.2) and it looks like this (see figure 1.3)

I don't think its possible to mount them flat, I think the plate is mandatory, if so would that be ok?? or will in snap when I land switch??

it would be fine to mount the plate on the skis, it would only give you more leverage on groomers. Just something you'd have to get used to.

Check out this link which shows the riser plate, also known as the T-Plate:

In that second set of photos that you posted, it looks like there is no Riser T-Plate on that ski. Yes you do have to mount that metal piece that rests on the orange colored piece for the heel. The reason for the confusion is because on your bindings, they made the mountings orange to match the ski. Usually when you buy the binding at retail, that piece is all black.
