An ode to Siver Cartel

many kids reading this might not know what siver even is, but it was an outerwear/ softgoods company created by mike nick. their designs were so ahead of the time, they would still be sick this year. tall ts,  sick schwag, even a whole series of comps for ams.
if you watch an old ski movie youll see that 90 percent of the companies mentioned arent even around anymore. i guess all  im saying is we always need be supporting the core of our sport.

hell yeah, I managed to get a siver cartel jacket last year, brand new, so sick! I'll miss the 40oz pockets, and baggyness of it! R.I.P. Siver

Yay it was part of the same compagny coalision
So the parent compagny merged the 2...
But at that time it was one of the only Real freestlyle clothing compagny

I still have a Siver sweatshirt that I wear around every once in a while. The only problem is that it's a medium and I'm at least 6'2. I might still even have some Siver stickers.

the sickest stickers.
the first tall t id ever seen/had, the sleeves were  even 3/4 length. maybe still ahead of its time?
siver sessions with pros like mike wilson and even dumont i think

I'm not sure everyone realizes the impact of the YGO.

Matt Walker, LJ?, Shea Flynn (with his dope switch rodeo 5 truckdriver!), Bobby Brown, Duncan Adams... the list goes on-they all competed in it.

Not only that but Siver had some sick stuff.  Their jackets were badass, shirts, everything.  I love Orage but I hate to see Siver go down.

Damn! I miss Siver so much! I still rock an old shirt of theirs (first tall T I ever had...) and I have an old puffy coat (Stuka II) that is still wearable (just a tad small).

Too bad to see it go.

Siver was rad, you can still find their stuff at getboards.com too, mostly Small or Medium jackets, but they do have some L and XL, can't believe it's still in stock.

in this category i would like to say that i wish i knew about aeryx before they stopped existing. a few of the skiers i hang out with have old aeryx and its all so fucking sick. they should have marketed to snowboarders, i would have bought anything from them. by far the dopest looking outerwear i have ever laid eyes on.

still rock my jacket to this day. btw little known fact, getboards.com still has some, not sure if its in stock but thats where i got mine for like 80 bucks three years ago and their still listed so... check it out:
