YouTube Sucks

Hope this is the right section


I can't stand YouTube. I can't ever watch a video all the way through without buffering. A 60 second video will buffer 5 times, but if I go to watch a Vimeo video, I can watch a 5 minute one all the way through without any issues. Anyone else have this issue?

My internet is fine. I just did a speedtest and I'm getting around 15mbps

It always depends. I'm from Switzerland and over here, Youtube is usually way faster. Spent some time in the States and in the UK, where Vimeo seemed to be better.

Vimeo is slower because you got to load a higher quality vid. You must juts have shitty internet.

No I see what you mean, I think youtube kinds of stops loading the video after a while.. like when I start it the loading bars goes really fast to like 1/3 of the video, then it just stops and when the video gets there, it buffers super slow

Vimeo >> youtube, but youtube is still the most popular without a doubt...

also vimeo is more for serious vids while youtube is filled with viral crap ...

just my 0.02$
