Photoshop question

i'm using photo shot cs4 and i was wondering if it is possible to save what i do to one image and apply that to a whole bunch of others

i'm playing with timelapse stuff and i want to apply the same effects to all the images, but there are like 900

yes, I believe there are some batch automate settings in CS4. I've never used them so I don't know for sure, but I know there is something to do what you need.

I was right about one thing. a function of "automate-> batch" is what you're looking for. play around with it

set up an action that does everything you want it to, saves your image, and closes it.

Then, go to file>automate>batch and you can select the folder you want to batch edit from. it will do them all at once.

threads. I've done it in Lightroom but not on PS. looks like you got some good info though
