pick up the latest issue of freeskier and there is a tricky tip i would just get um on tramp into water and then take up to the hill

1. Good strong pop (don't just throw your end towards the ground).
2. Kick you heels to your bum (use the weight of your skis to add to the momentum of your flip)
3. Tuck your head into the rotation
4. Open up when you feel your rotation coming around as you won't spot your landing very early

Practise on a tramp.

Depends on what you're throwing your fronts off of. I found it much easier to do punch fronts on rollers by setting it a little backseat on my heels then throwing it out and up on the apex of the roller.
