Writing a letter to company and getting schwag for it

yes, i couldn't think of a better word than schwag

i decided to make this to see what people have done

this didnt happen to me but i'll start. my friend in my senior year of high school wrote a letter to snapple saying how he loved the product and they shipped him a free 12 pack of it

As long as they are good about it, most the time they will send you stuff. For sure Line and Full Tilt will hook you up, even if you send them an email. But it will really happen if you send them an envelope with everything already pre-postaged with your address to speed up things.

i asked armada for a size chart for one of their hoodies, then after they sent it to me i wrote the guy a nice thank you email. so he asked for my email to send me free stuff. i don't know if i ever got anything though... when the hoodie came in the mail it came with some stickers and this potato candy bar. i'm not sure if that was the free stuff or not... i never ate the candy bar..

this little piece of advice kept ,e and my friends well fed through college. coke, pepsi, chocolate bars, mc cain pizza, hot pockets, pizza pops. anuthing with a 1800 number on the back will pretty much garuntee free stuff

I bought a king size package of Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, but when I opened it, I found it only had two PB cups in it.  I sent Hersheys a letter and they sent me back a dozen more Reese's packages.

when i was in the first year of school, so about 5 or 6 I guess, we all had to write letters for homework. I wrote to walkers / lays crisps, cant remember what i said but they sent me a little packet of the barbecue flavouring they use. was probably the best day of my life. forgot all about this until just now..

if you write an email or a letter complaining to any food company they will send you at least a couple discount coupons or a few coupons to get the food for free.

i would just try to keep from sending the same letter to one company multiple times

My friend ordered a McTasty and dropped it on the floor in McDonald's. She then went out to her car, called the 1800 number complaining that there was too much mayonnaise on her burger, causing it to slip out of her hands. They told her they saw her drop it and hung up on her.
