Windows 7 Backup help!

I am going to reformat my computer because somehow my windows installer is busted beyond repair.

When I bought my computer with windows 7 it kept telling me to burn a backup of windows 7 to a disk in case I needed to reformat. Me being me I never did that. How do I do this so when I reformat I can reinstall windows 7?

The computer should have come with windows 7 install disks. If not, torrent and burn to disks. And to the above poser, when you wipe your apple clean does the OS just automatically install or something?!

Thanks!

My windows installer was corrupted somehow and I couldn't fix it so I deleted it following someones instructions and now I can't reinstall it because the microsoft site doesn't have an installer download for windows 7.

Burn the software onto a disk whether you use your computer or someone else's.
Reboot or turn on the computer with the disk already in the slot. Hit F2 on startup. This should reboot the computer from the disk. I can email you the Windows installation lab. It's designed for students and teaching purposes. It is very helpful
