Could you bend 80mm pivot brakes to fit a 122mm ski?

Yes it is possible to bend 80mm brakes to 120mm if you know what your doing

If you ask a shop tech to bend FKS brakes by anymore than a centimeter or two, you're making their lives miserable.

Ive bent standard P-series/FKS brakes as wide as Praxis Pows. Thats 136mm.

If you know what your doing, 120 is nothing. I did a similar bend for Caylors last season.

Yep I bent out a pair of breaks to about 124 to fit over my caylors too. I doubt anyone will find a shop that will do this though.

I'd try to bend them, if that fails order a wider pair of brakes.

Look in the maintenance thread on bending them. 40mm aint much.

I bent standard race stock FKS brakes to fit 122mm Surface New Lifes. You just have to know what you're doing.

a shop will not likely do that for you. your better off buying bew braked for like 30 bucks

i've bent standard fks brakes to 130

if you're talking about actual pivots though, the brakes are fucking hard to bend on those. it's the one brake i can't successfully bend

So I have never really bent brakes before but I will be putting some fks 155s on some surface new lifes. I watched the brake bending video but any other suggestions? Thanks guys.
