Upgrading Phone

Im with sprint and i have the rumor touch which is average but i want the EVO and ive only had the phone for about 6 months and im on a 2 year contract. Ive looked at buying the phone wo/contract but its like $400 at the cheapest.  what should i do.

I agree sprint sucks, but im on my dads busniesses plan and im not paying for my own phone plan and dont really have the option

There is probably an early cancellation fee on the contract, which I assume you dont want to pay. But if its less than $400, it might be worth it to cancel it, then get a new contract with the Evo. You just have to look at your options and decide how much money you want to spend. Not much more to it than that as far as I know.

sprint is cdma right? like you dont have sim cards?

like said above, look at how much itll cost you to cancel the contract. i know in canada, its like 20 or 40 dollars for each month you are missing, so its a hefty amount...

i think you can get the new phone cheaper but you have to extend your contract 2 more years. at least thats how it is for ATT
