Sunday River this weekend.

Assuming it doesnt get rained out I plan on being up there with some friends on saturday and sunday. Im gonna have my cute little flip camera and ill probably throw together a pre-season SR montage. So if you are planning on going up post here with what youre most likely to be wearing that way i can get name recognition in the montage, or you can just find the fat kid with the shaved head riding 09 chronics and let me know who you are.

SarazenCurrently sitting at home with a concussion. Apparently I caught an edge hitting the second jump on January 1st and landed on my head. Went to patrol and the hospital but have no memory of either. I lost memory of New Years Eve and pretty much everything on the 1st but some of it is coming back. I'm having some issues with short term memory but should make a full recovery. Hopefully I'll get back soon and most likely will stick to filming for the rest of the season. Everyone keep killing it out there.


Very sad to hear that man. I'm almost 100% back from my collarbone injury and should be up for MLK weekend. Hopefully we can still film and ski some this year. Best of luck!

I'll finally be back up this weekend. Temps are looking pretty warm on Saturday and not too bad for Sunday. Stoked to be back out on the slopes. I'll be filming with a decent size group and hopefully this jump line they're building is a nice addition.

I might be up Sunday. Definitely finna get some shots of things with screaming seamans in them if you're down to take them.

NS HALP. Roommate and I are in desperate need of pow day bliss with nowhere to stay, and it's just too much of a haul from Orono to make a day trip in the blizzard. Anyone have some bed or floor space they could graciously shoot our way?

The park crew did a pretty good job with the jumps in T72 this past weekend. Probably the biggest jumps they've made this early in the season. They weren't very poppy but they were big and sent you. Landings were long and it would be tough to overshoot. I talked to a park crew guy and he said they're stripping the rail section on T72 and putting in new features so hopefully this is true. I should be up next weekend filming again.

Sidenote - This blizzard should be sick. Predicted around 2 feet down here and Rhode Island so I'm hoping SR gets hit hard.

Yeah, we're supposed to get 6 or so more inches on Friday as well, and we got a huge dump here, so I'd say it's definitely worth it, though Sloaf is 100x better for pow just because of their terrain

Snow was the nicest I've ever skied at SR, but a lot of it was already a bit icy underneath. Blind Ambition along with basically every other trail/glade was prime yesterday and the snow was mad soft.

I probably shouldn't be complaining about the parks seeing as there is some pow to be skid, but it's a little disappointing that there won't be any rails in the bottom section of T72.

Agreed, I'd think with the nice new snow they might be able to push it around to make some dope rail setups and have a couple days where the rail park doesn't get super icy and hardpack. But no. We have to wait like 2 weeks for rails ;-;

Would actually be pretty sick, there are some nice cliffs and jumps to launch off in Blind Ambition over on Jordan Bowl.

Also, the jumps are pretty nice due to the soft snow. Fun to try new tricks and such. Landed my first inverts on Wednesday with some super nice snow.

made it up thursday after that fuckin blizzard. conditions were awesome, park was awesome, and it was dead. Still a little rusty... been off my fuckin grind this year, but the stoke is back and will more than likely be up at some point next week. Should be just as good to its lookin like another foot on thursday

No lights on the North Peak parks so only Whoville is up for night skiing. Still some fun laps to be had in there, but lights on T72/3D would be very much appreciated. Or a T-Bar/Rope tow to hike features/lap the jib park.

A t-bar/rope tow would be absolutely insane but do you think they would be able to get the funds to drop on it? They put a ton of money into making the trail itself and the North Peak lift is right there. I would be stoked if they put something in, but I'm not sure if it'll happen.
