So I recently had a giveaway for some stickers, So now I want to do something a little bigger and giveaway a couple of dope Oakley toques. ***All you have to do is post a comment on downtofilm's page saying newschoolers, or NS. I will pick randomly from all the comments.
I will also throw a couple stickers away to some random people.

The difference is in the brim. Toques have the wide "folded over" look, while beanie is straight up no difference.

SO SHUT THE FUCK UP CANADA. OP IS SELLING BEANIES, NOT TOQUES. TAKE YOUR FUCKING EGO AND SHOVE IT.

Toque is also used to describe hats with short brims.

A beanie is just a beanie. The amount of variety is slim, whereas toque can mean many different things.

That's why, in this case, American vernacular triumphs.

i'm still trying to grasp this toque word. because it's obviously a chef's hat, and in french a toque is a hair do. and we don't call it a tock we call it a toouhk. is it the english translation because it's really abrassive. but if you really want to get into the semantics of fashion categories, you have one word that branches off into different things. a sweater can be a cardigan and a hoodie but it's not the same thing.... therefore a hat can be a beanie and a toque, but they're not the same. and a brimmed toque isn't just a toque, it has a brim. but anyways.... haha.
