heavenly season pass holders are in luck because you can now ski at heavenly and northstar for the price of one heavenly season pass.

This is sweet, Epic pass holders now have access to Northstar and Sierra included in the price of their Epic pass. I was planning on making a trip to Tahoe this year anyway but this just made the deal a whole lot less expensive.

because theres competition. i could buy an epic pass for at least a hundred less than a season pass to my local mountain because for my town its the option of driving a half hour or 2 and a half. Everything is closer together in CO.

Geez people always forget that.

Sounds like a sweet deal for pass holders, but I mean thats one hell of a drive from south lake to N* or vice versa. I see the S Lake to N* making sense, but I cant imagine many people from truckee or north lake heading to south shore to shred Heavenly.

Could be wrong though.

Personally I would not go to Tahoe to ski Northstar.  I wouldn't go to ski Heavenly either. 

If any of you CO guys do come to Tahoe, be aware of the geography.  Heavenly and Northstar are a long way away.

I might, I just would not plan a Tahoe trip specifically to ski those places.  Tahoe has much better mountains than either of those.  If I happened to be there, than yeah I might, but I would not plan a trip around skiing Northstar or Heavenly.

i did it last year but last year sucked in summit, me n my roomates went to reno lived at his house (free) then skied heavenly. we timed it right though with 2 24+ inch dumps in the 4 day trip we took. It wasnt the greatest mountain but it was different than skiing breck or vail 3 days a week

That is a pretty cheap trip.  If you get pow, anywhere is awesome. 

I didn't know last year was that bad in Summit.  If you were going to make the trip, I would pick Heavenly over Northstar.  Heavenly has more good terrain.

Only difference is that Breck and Vail are good ski resorts, whereas N* is as flat as a 10 year old and Heavenly's not much better.
