So i'm at the point where riding boxes and rails is comfy and i've been trying to get spins off down solid on boxes first. I've landed a few 270 pretzels off but usually my front ski catches the box and i dont get the rotation. Any tips or anything? And 270 off rails look soooo easy just haven't been able to get it. Any tips on these too?

a pretzel is if you spin off the opposite way you spun on, but check out the trick tip cult there is loads of threads like this there

I'm guessing you're talking about frontside 270s off - cause in order for it to be a pretzel you need to either spin onto the rail (i.e. 270on) or do a switch-up on the rail and then stop your rotation and spin back the other way (i.e. 270on-pretzel-blindside 270 off or frontside switch-up-pretzel-frontside 270 off).
In order to do frontside 270 offs easier try using more edges more, so when you get on the rail take your front ski and dig your edge into the side of the rail or box with your toe/tip slightly up and turn your shoulders so they face the end of the rail then just pop off and turn.
