I have 4.1 weighted and like a 3.8 unweighted gpa. I got 29 on my act (not powered) and around 1200 on SAT with not including writing

I'm applying so far to DU, Westminster, College of Idaho and Fort lewis. I'm stoked because all four of these schools waived my application fee!

I have a 1050 on my SAT without writing and I want to go to SUNY Oswego. I'm applying to Fredonia, Buffalo State, and OCC as well though. I don't know my GPA. High 80's? I didn't do shit in high school.

4.5 weighted, 3.75 non-weighted
Gonna have taken 10 AP's by the end of this year (got 4's and 5's on the first 6)
I got a 33 on my ACT and a 2040 on my SAT

i would honestly really reconsider applying to fort lewis. you'd be MUCH better off taking the money you would've paid for tuition, and instead rent a condo for 4 years at a notoriously good ski mountain. i've said it before, but a degree from the fort isn't really worth the piece of paper it's printed on.

i mean... you can major in camping. CAMPING.

Some of you make me feel like a retard... I got a 28 composite on the ACT both times i took it, and a 31 superscore. I haven't taken the SAT yet, and I have no idea what my GPA is but it's probably not great unweighted.

I'm applying to Hanover, UK, UNC maybe, IU, and possibly Colorado and Vermont.

why colby?
i only ask because i was very interested in colby for lacrosse. i did an overnight there, the school was really nice, but there is no town, and its just so far....

you should look at the other nescac schools (the athletic conference that colby is in). these include middlebury, amherst, baits, bowdoin, hamilton, williams, and a couple other schools. they are all great school, and i think you have better grades than colby, and the other schools are more fun

I checked out amherst, bates, and bowdoin already and liked colby by far the best. I'm not sure why, but I just really loved it there. Its one of those schools that I would love to go to, but it just isn't very practical for employment and location since I live in Maryland.

SATs: 1430 without writing (only took it once) ACTs: 32 SAT Subject Tests: 730 on US History, 630 on Math II, 630 on Chemistry. I'm applying to UVM, St. Mike's, Champlain, RPI, UNH, maybe MIT on a very long shot and there's one or two other possibles. My GPA is sorta on the low end of where it should be because I slacked off a ton the first half of high school

I love that place, it's sort of a reach...I have a 3.5 and i got a 26 on the ACTs (I don't test well). I'm hoping that talking to the cross-country coach as well as have a banger app will pull me through.

the only nescac that's actually near a damn city, instead of in the middle of buttfuck nowhere like all the others?

i looked at a bunch of other nescacs, but ended up here. i could never survive at any of the maine schools or anything - don't get me wrong, they're good schools but there's nothing there but the college.

just my opinion. i like it. maybe you would too...maybe not, i dunno.

junior in high school, 3.6 GPA unweighted (go to what is said to be the most challenging school in MD) 2100 on my first SAT, art portfolio that was ranked a 4.8 on the AP, and probably playing lacrosse in college.

looking at middlebury, conn. college, bowdoin, hamilton, tufts. (any other suggestions?)

what are my chances at those schools? i have not spoken with hamilton or tufts as far as lacrosse there. hoping for an offer or ill contact the coach.

who has gotten into these schools and what were your SAT and GPA. and did you have an art portfolio?

Art portfolios probably only truly matter if you want to major in something art related, otherwise I guess it wouldn't make that big of a difference.
My cousin though applied to University of Chicago with an Art Portfolio, and got into the Arts Program there. It probably does help a little to have one, but depends how interested you are in art.

And what high school are you talking about by the way?

i have a 3.45 out of 4 weighted GPA. i have a 1940 on SATs with all sections. my GPA and scores aren't great, but i have great extracurriculars, a good essay, and i interview well, so i'm hoping that evens it out a bit.
my schools are (in order of wanting to go there): Holy Cross, Providence College,UVM, Saint Michael's, Fairfield University and Northeastern
