this is NSG because i'm not really suggesting anything for the site, I'm fine with the way we do stuff on ns..... what are your guys thoughts on these rules... honestly i couldn't live without bumping or feeding trolls or using text speak.... they are so serious on this forum

no political/religious threads is a bit excessive, but nah, otherwise i think it's fine.

NS should do like they do, and start off the rules by mentioning that users have absolutely no rights when it comes to the website. Would eliminate the question of whether a ban is fair or not that everyone for some reason asks

i didn't realize it was just halo. I thought it was like ns and had an off-topic section like we have nsg.

but yea, if its literally just the game, then those rules are completely reasonable.

it is pretty tight on the rules, but i figure they have to be since it's a company's site, so it needs to be legit, and they probably have SO many members, way more than here.. unfortunately for them i think they have even more of a retarded 13 year old demographic than NS does haha

Actually I don't think the youngin population or at least the strong youngin population congregates at the Bungie or Xbox forums, it's really more of the MLG forums where you get the real fucktards. I would consider them more comparable to an NS or even 4Chan than the Bungie or Xbox forums.

What is trolling?
Trolling is any post designed to evoke an emotional or flaming response instead of an informed, well-reasoned reply. These posts are characterized by broad generalizations and personal accusations about specific people or groups of people rather than a well-reasoned assertion backed up with support. Just a few examples of trolling include:

- "All level 50s suck"
- "Kids under 13 have squeaky voices and are all annoying"
- "MLG players are arrogant"
- "Halo 3 is the worst game ever created"

Parody or satire threads are a form of trolling.

"Do not feed the trolls" means do not respond to trolling, and is also strictly enforced.
