Would you rather buy freestyle skis that were eco-friendly?

If you had the choice of two sick skis, would you go for the one that was eco-friendly if it cost more but was evenly matched otherwise? It seems like a lot of ski companies, big and small, have been switching to eco-friendly skis, apparel, etc. and I'm wondering if this makes a difference in what kids buy or if the efforts and extra costs these companies are putting in don't really matter much. What do you think?

If the ski looked good and killed it, I'd be down to pay the same or even some more for the one that was eco-friendly. I think it's a real good thing that companies finding materials that are sustainable and using them for skis and boards. There's a website that has a lot of these skis listed out but I can't remember it. Will post when I think of it

I would not pay much more, so the difference would have to be minimal.  It really isn't a factor that influences my decision process in picking a ski, it's just something that adds a bonus.  The footprint of the ski industry is insignificantly small as it is relative to the rest of the world.

I'd go for whatever is cheaper.  It's not like a car where once you buy it, you can still be eco-friendly.  If you don't buy it, someone else will, and it really makes no difference.  Now maybe if every single company started making their skis eco-friendlier, I would very much support that, but right now, I'm just trying to save money.

If they were the same price and performance then sure, otherwise no. The ski industry does not have that big of an impact on the environent

so you wouldnt care that there would be no skiing in the future cause you couldnt spend a little more money on skis to help the planet out.

Eco-friendly stuff is bullshit, they usually just use more production energy than normal gear. it's just an advertisement scheme

sorry to all the tree huggers and shit out there, but I am just trying to save money. as everyone already said, the ski industry has a very insignificant effect on the environment compared to other industries
