Dew Tour Opening up at Killington this year...??

So much to my surprise, the Dew Tour has dropped Mount Snow as one of their tour spots for the 2011 Winter Dew Tour circut. What are you thoughts? Comments?

Last year while in the pipe athlete tent during the Ski practice I was told several times that we had the gnarliest pipe on tour, and the wind on the mountain was killer. Both probably very true but every athlete I talked to loved the vibes and the atmosphere of the event and town. Is killington going to stack up?

I might be a little bias, but I think Mount Snow offers a better park system than Killington can, said by many of the athletes in attedence, and they'll be back to Snow in 2012.

old news? did you not read about dew tour wanting a bigger pipe than mt snow would dig. Mt snow wanted something alot more people would use than just a handful of people and people on the tour

That pipe is generally packed on the weekends from open to close...especially in the spring. The pipe might have been 2 feet smaller but still athletes were boosting out of it. Who cares about how much it's used the rest of the year? They completely re-built the pipe for the tour anyways.

I understand this was released in July but no one has posted about it on here so don't say "oh it's old news" or "where the fuck have you been" because I know it's been well known for a while.

they would have to redid the pipe, they didnt want to. a 22ft pipe wouldnt get as much use as what they currently have. they looked into it and didnt want to do it

Well, its mainly because the nordica team trashed everything and was spitting beer at people from the balcony at the bar. They also got into a fight and beat up some kid because he confronted them over olenick spitting beer on his girlfriend.

well there's the issue. why do they let this clown into contests still? didn't he steal a credit card at one of the Ski Tours? he obviously hasn't proven himself to be a mature enough person to be allowed to roam free in ski parties...

You sir are not correct. Yes there may of been beer getting spit from the balcony, I cannot confirm who was doing this. There was no fight, the kid who wanted to fight the spitter had some words and some pushing but there was no punches thrown. The same kid was thrown out and everyone left and went to the Matterhorn and kept on with the party.

The situation was very funny.

The reasons where on night time pipe events they have the spotlights and they are programed with that extra two feet in them and i guess it is a real pain in the ass to change the programming to the pipe.....so i have heard.
