In your opinion is a 178 anthem to big for a guys like me?

I am practically the same size as you, just a little heavier and i recently purchased a pair of line masterminds at 178. I don't think they would be to big for you. They are an inch or so above my head.

I think they would be fine.  If you're growing a bit, they'd be perfect.  And if you plan on doing jumps on them it'll be better because they're so soft and it'll keep you from washing out.

just some background info that might help.I currently ride a 160 nordica spark(feels short) I have also ridden a 2010 chronic 171 (felt good not to long).

im an inch taller than you and the same weight and this year im getting 177 abangs so those should be fine for you
