i got made fun of a lot for my race growing up in an all white school
eventually i started to embrace it myself, and not necessarily make fun of myself but i tried to jokingly live up to some stereotypes
its not always easy being polish
In the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.
Play along with the stereotypes. They'll either end up laughing with you and not at you or stop altogether. If you're proud of being Korean, show it. Don't let people show you it bothers you. Weakness is such an easy target.
That, or become a bully yourself and start fucking people up.
I look back at high school now and laugh though. It was such a joke. EVERYONE in high school is fake and/or confused and/or trying to fit in. That's why they make fun of people in the first place.
"Yeah he created a whole new type of skier, the high class gaper. Now instead of buying goggles from Goodwill you can pay 300 bucks to look like a faggot."
Yeah I'm 100% Russian. All my friends make fun of me for it calling me a communist/dirt almost every day. I think it's hilarious.
but to the OP, just embrace it and roll with it. it's kind of a lose-lose situation. if you laugh it off and learn to take it well, they'll make fun of you more, but they won't be serious about it. if you take it poorly and get legit mad and upset, they'll do it even more, but they'll actually be serious about it.
