all i can say is make a tall anorak jacket PLEASE.

if you dont know what an anorak is, its what the analog coffin jacket is. a tall quarter zip hardshell pullover basically. theyre made to be really burley and keep you dry.

heres one burton made a few years back. i like the chest pocket design and the dual neck zippers on this one. plus its Gore tex.

Are you making outerwear (jackets/pants) or streetwear (hoodies, t-shirts, etc.).

Making actual outerwear takes a lot of design and technology. You would most likely have to hire numerous people and have some serious funding to make something semi-legit. How much is your dad putting into this? Are you going to use decent materials like goretex or eVent?

Threads incase you blow up and need to start hiring people because I need a jobbbb after may haha

There was a pretty legit snowboard outerwear company starting up a couple years ago and I am trying to poke around and see what happened to them. It looks like they went under but their designs were good and quality was supposed good so I'm not sure what went wrong. They were having all of their outerwear sewn in a sleeping bag/backpack factory in Poland.

I won't drop the name here but I'll let you know if I find out what went down.

id like to pass this on...... i posted it up for another start up company. but you can use it too!

BUSINESS OUTLINE:

Call out all companies already doing what you do then just make everything you can, as cheap as you can! No need to redesign anything, just use standard patterns and swap colors around in editor!

Then start filling up the market with as much disposable gear you can. Young people will buy as long as you can get and keep the hype up, because you have branched out so early you will get alot of respect.

And dont forget to sit at your computer all day so when you knowingly fuck shit up and ship it out late anyways you can issue refunds immediately or send new proper sized product that was shipped to the distributor even later, then you can get mad respect for having amazing customer service!
