I'm moving there this next month and was wondering if anyone had really ridden there

Kirkwood's great! I work there. most snowfall in the tahoe area some real nice terrain and features. terrible park though.

Well if your moving to actual Kirkwood it is way the hell out there, like 30 to 40 minutes from anything really
not to many people live out there from what I know

but the skiing there is awesome so during the winter you won't have to worry about going anywere else

kirkwood is dope terrain wise. its windy as shit sometimes though and the base of the mountain isn't to big (as i'm sure you are looking for nightlife). southlake is sick though.

Kirkwood is super fun. Lots of sick terrain to hike to for fresh tracks, just lacking a decent park. The jumps have short landings and cheese wedge takeoffs. You think your hitting a 60 plus foot jump and it's only about 30. Sick mt tho, have fun man

Kirkwood is 27 miles from Meyers a super small town, about ten miles from south lake (stateline) I lived in Meyers last year and will again next year. its a bit of a commute but you dont want to live at the mountain

i loved it there. the terrain is so sick and their park isnt bad either. i actually like it better than squaw
