I'm looking at buying new poles and i'm wondering about the line 2011 poles, I have heard of issues about the bolt on top, but is this a reason not to buy the pole?
I've never heard an issue about that. It depends what kind of skier you are. If your more park, go for the new line pins. If you are an all mountain skier but also like to hit up the park a bit, the darts might be a good choice.
The bolt on top is an incredible easy fix. Just get some locktite, or hell even most glue would hold the bolt on.
The thing i didn't like about my line dart poles was how wide the handle was. It's not skinny at all. It's bigger than most handles in fact. (they're not huge, they're just definitely not skinny.) And also, it's not a crazy pole light or anything, it is literally just a regular pole.
Get the line PIN. I am much happier with this pole because the handle is actually skinny.
