those league never seem to work on hear. pratically no one kept track in the baseball one. the college hoops tourney bracket worked out pretty well. so i thought this might.

yeah, this pickem thing is easy as your mom, and doesnt take a lot of time, so i guess most people will stay with it. fantasy (when done right) requires a "shit ton of time" (relative) and interaction with other guys. its not working when you want to trade for a guy and the owner just never answers or such stuff.

im gonna be bumping this thread all season to  remind  everyone about making picks.

also use this thread to discuss games/stuff going on around the league. but lets keep the "GO NY JETS supper bowl brahhh" posts to a minumum, they get old. same with posting scores during the game hopefully people  are watching the games and dont need an update. sorry to sound like  a dick but every single sports thread on this messageboard is like that and it hurts the eyes.

start making your picks. deadline is five minutes before each game but its much easier to do it all at once.

its picking the spread so basically what you doing is picking whether the favorite will beat the underdog by the amount of points posted next to the game.

for example:

the spread of the Saints/Vikings game is 5. if you pick the saints and they win by a touchdown you would win that bet. but if you pick the saints and they only win by a field goal you would lose that bet.

thats just the basics. read it up on google.

who is anyone taking for the NO/MIN game? that is one i wouldnt bet on, but here it cant hurt, so i guess i will take MIN since they actually beat themselves in the NFC champ game.

yeah dude i picked the vikings as well. i just feel like favre and the offense has something to prove tonight. if they end up coming short, i think the vikings will be in for a long season.

kinda fun. awesome is the "week X leaderboard". amazing how many poeple get everything right. not so amzing when you consider the sheer amount of players, but whatever. i will leave ns when i get all 16 right in one week
