Beats by Dre or Bose quietcomforts?

i was walkin by Best buy and i guess theres no Tax in mass today and tomorrow so I went into cop a pair of the Beats by Dre studio headphones... but ended up getting the Bose Quietcomfort 15 instead... they only had real light, gay sample music to test them out with so I wasn't sure how it would sound with my music.


The bass on the Dre's are like nothing I have heard before and sick as fuck, but some best buy fag kept convincing me to grab the Bose since the noise cancelation is no doubt incredible, compared to the beats by dre which don't have that. They are both $300. Now that im home and plugged this shit into some dubstep and heavy hiphop, the sound is obviously mad good but it doesn't hit nearly as hard and rich as the Dres. I listen to other music too but bass is huge for me . The studios makes you feel like you're literally in the club. Downside - the Quietcomfort are definitely more comfortable and lighter.


ANyone who has owned the Studio beats by dre for a while help me decide? They are both $300 so im thinking about going back tomorrow and switching them but i dont know

I have beats and am very happy with them. Although I paid no where near full retail for them. They are a little overpriced and not the most durable, but I could not be happier with them. I'd say if you aren't happy with what you bought, return them and try out beats.

Now im no audiophile but I have had both side by side once and I have to say that Quiet Comfort wins. To me it had crisper sound, tighter bass, and over all a better headphone. I was curious myself so i tested both on various different songs. Thats just my opinion though.

my friends dad is really into music and stuff, he owns a store, and my friend said that he thought the SK pros are better than the beats, but with the way that i tend to break them, i can't really justify spending that much, and i have bose in my car which is like the only time i listen other than excercising/skiing

skullcandy skullcrushers. the rest of thier stuff is average but this are the way to go for bass.

you might also want to look into nixon master blasters or something
the whips are the same price as the icons, and the icons have better bass, but the nixons sound way better and are way more durable. this might only be for that model though

Beats by dre actually do have noise cancellation.

I have beats by dre and I love them. when I tried on several headphones nothing compared to the beats. especially things with heavy bass like dubstep and rap

sorry yo i saw those in the shelf... im sure they sound good but they are $80 for a reason... no way they sound anywhere close to Studio by dre. plus they look kinda gay with those puffy cups

the beats definitely have powered noise canceling. two triple A batteries go in one ear of the headphones. i love mine. they were given to me for x mas but only 150 was paid for them. 300 is too much.

theres no way you got them for $150..... even now half a year later the cheapest new I can find them online anywhere including ebay is $200.

They're aren't very durable (plastic band loses its form after a while), but they provide a pretty good bang for the buck ($40 or so). btw, they've got a massive cord that is quite annoying.

i pumped so much bass into my skullcrushers that the sub woofer broke after one month.

skullcandy's are really shitty durability wise. but the bass was fucking incredible.

I believe it, my sony noise cancelling mp3 player/in ear headphones have better base than any other in ear headphones and most over-ear

yo. I have the quite comforts and my roommate has the beats. Both sick headphones, but get the beats.

They look better, better audio and to be honest. Turn the beats on with no music and believe it or not the sound cancel as well if not better then my bose. Plus the fit a little bit more snug on your head and you feel a little less stupid looking.
