Light flexible skis?

So I got a job this summer and am currently saving up for this seasons gear.

I recently got anthems which seemed pretty dope and all... still are. But I found them to be heavy.

I'm about 5'7 maybe 5'8 and I mounted them with griffons.
Heavy as fuck imo.

I've been looking at factions and at the moment that seems to be the direction I'm heading, but of course I would vury much enjoy an ns opinion.

I love the way Lines ski, but they are generally heavier than comparable options...same with K2. Armada has some nice light options, but they don't produce a ski with a symmetrical sidecut (flex yes, sidecut no). You can check out the Atomic :) Punx and Patent too. Nordica's Ace of Spades is symmetric, but anything but light and flexible. Volkl Walls are light and symmetrical, but not very soft...

Given that there aren't a ton of symmetrical skis kicking around, you might have to pick two of your three criteria (symmetric + light, symmetric + flexible)...

ive skied next seasons moment reno jibs in a 178. I am by no means a big guy and i found them to have a medium/medium-soft flex and one of the lightest things i have ever skied on, plus in one of the sia videos they mentioned that they were going to soften up their park skis for next season.

Well, the Volkl ledge is medium flex, is 100% symmetrical, and has a butter zone in the front. Also, they are decently lightweight.

honestly, BSs have replaced invaders and far surpassed them IMHO. super light, durable, much faster, stiffer under foot for jumps, rocker tip/tail for butters/presses

I ski a small hill, great powder, small park.

Basically wut I want to do is to be able to jib stupid shit.
With my anthems I was bustin out like, nose butter to handplant to front flip of cat tracks.

But when it came to actual flipping motions they definetly seemed to screw me up a lot.

I was going to just get a pow ski but then I thought jibbing stuff, and handplanting shit might stop.
Anthems seemed okay in powder but once again, heavy as fuck.


Also my hill only has natural jumps and jumps that you make yourself out of bounds.

This is actually the exact same situation I am in, What about the kung fujas??? They're nice and soft for jibbing and 96 underfoot for powder and are rockered too

fischer addicts are light, they arent horrendously stiff but they are slightly stiff. super dope ski though

If you want a symmetrical, light, flexible ski I would have to recommend the Icelantic Da'Nollie. It is perfect in a 180 for what you are looking for. It is light, It has a medium flex which softens up in just the right places after a couple of months of use and for a symmetrical ski it shreds all-mountain nicely. It can carve trenches to if that is something you care about. I hate symmetrical skis in general but I really did love my Da'Nollies and they would fit you perfectly.

ok sounds like you r asking for the armada t-hall except they are just barly not symetrical they have everything but that plus armada is awsome, your other option is the on3p blue steele from what ive read they r exactly what u r looking for they are symetrical but i stll thik you should go for the 2010 t-hall they r the exact same as the 2011 but cheeper

there are definitely some changes to the 10/11 THall that will make it ski better than the 09/10. Any 09/10s will be cheaper though for sure

mainly the new hybrid cap/sidewall construction. it will noticeably lighten up the ski, provide a smoother flex tip and tail while still giving super edge hold underfoot and provide better resistance to top sheet chipping
