they are actually not too floppy. the pics make em look like they are but its not too bad. i also got thin noodles. if you buy the bigger thicker ones im sure they'll be stiffer. ill have to try it. but for a $4 investment they arnt too bad. glad to see people like them! thanks

bump cause i just made some tramp skis much like the ones in the OP.
some problems I'm having: Shoes seem to destroy noodles around where my heal is. (by the way I'm using watersocks as shoes cause thats the only free pair of shoes I had). actually thats about it they're pretty fun and work not bad.
For the pvc idea does it work or would those small tubes break?
