you can listen to some samples here, and if you dig it, you can buy full albums (sorry, i wish i had a link to free stuff).  but yacub addy, the leader of odadaa! taught west african drumming where i went to college and is one of the coolest dudes i've ever met.  the collab with wynton marsalis is awesome, but if you're looking for more traditional stuff, check out the "children of the ancients" CD.

I've been looking for this exact same music. I've been looking for that classic african song that is in everything, its impossible to describe though because I can't type the rythm out
