14 Year old mexican shot crossing border.

Yesterday a border patrol agent from el paso killed a 14 year old boy who was among a group of teens that were trying to get into the USA, and were throwing rocks at the agent. The 2nd mexican killed in BP shootings in 2 weeks...this is causing major controversy among the Mexican president calderon and Border security.

Today, the el paso newspaper is filled with stories about this. If you didn't know Ciudad Juarez is among the worldst most dangerous cities...this only created more drama. Cnn is on this ****, Spanish TV host 'Laura' is to pay a visit to Juarez about this

He should tell his people to stop running into the us. Maybe they could have used something non lethal, maybe not. Shouldn't kill kids, shouldn't run across the border.

Thay should have set their phasers to stun, but when you throw rocks at an armed man, you can expect he will defend himself however he can. Ever heard the saying, don't bring a knife to a gunfight? Except these kids brought rocks.

so if i read this correctly, the border patrol was on the us bank of the rio and the mexican was on the mexican bank? and they were throwing rocks from their side, over the river to the us side?

hmmm maybe if he werent trying to cross the border this wouldnt have happened?

this type of thing pisses me off, yeah it sucks that he died. but its like when someone punches you and you punch them back harder and they get pissed at you for punching them harder than they did. or when someone starts a fight with someone, gets his ass kicked and him and his friends get pissed for the guy winning the fight.
its 100% that persons fault for putting himself in that position, and its more his fault that he got killed.

nah its not racist, more like making an educated guess based on facts.
if im in socal, texas, arizona etc.. in a town with a large mexican population its a very good chance that alot of the people you see around are illegal's. stereotypes exist for a reason.

if you saw me laying on the beach in mexico, would it be racist to think that im an american on vacation? no not at all, its using common sense. because there is a very good chance that i am.

I highly doubt those mexicans standing in watch were illegal, and I know that he's only assuming they're mexican because they're hispanic (racist). No illegals hang are going to hang around the fence once they cross it. It's just not how things are done. And your example of stereotype does not apply here. If I assumed you were american, nothing would happen. I would leave with my assumption and that would be it. Assuming that all those men and women watching were illegal and worthy of death at the hands of the border patrol would be a different matter.

On the topic of Mexican crossing the border, yes shooting is excessive force, yes throwing rocks at a guy with a gun is stupid, and to all these Mexican officials that are pissed,  control your fucking people.  Maybe make your country a little nicer so everyone doesnt want to risk there lives to leave

good, it's about time we actually let border patrol do its job without tying their hands. In other illegal news, crimmigrants are leaving AZ in droves, over 100,000 in the past 3 weeks according to AZ welfare offices. The law is already working and it hasn't even gone into effect yet. Watch out TX, NM, CO, and other southwestern states because Arizona's illegals aren't leaving the country, they are just flooding into your states where immigration policies are lax. You people are gonna have a shitstorm on your hands. Have fun with it.
