This guy is absolutely insane, super creative, and is pushing boundaries of what's possible with keyboards, while maintaining the technical level of a professional performance pianist. Currently plays keyboard for Dream Theater, a little metal band you may have heard of.
Here's a solo piece he performed in concert a while ago:
Here's a solo on his Continuum, a super cool instrument. More or less a touch-sensitive keyboard, you can control pitch, volume, AND modulation of a synth sound. On top of that, you can do some really cool pitch bends, and slide chords around like a guitar:
Just thought I would share, and if anyone is a dream theater fan and plays keys, I would highly recommend the book "The Dream Theater Keyboard Experience". Its about a grade 8 or 9 RCM level, although there are easier parts, and some REALLY difficult parts in the pieces.
